If you DO go-we loved staying at cabins!
You can "do the cabin thing" at Silver Lake Lodging right outside the gate in Yellowstone, and at the Signal Mountain Lodge in Grand Teton.

If you want to mountain bike and not be in the crowds at Jackson Hole, we DID love the Grand Targhee Resort, and we wished we would have been able to see the entire mountain range from the top, but go if you want the experience..and send me a pic!
