March 2024 Sand Update at Kua Bay

Remember when we showed you Kua Bay with NO sand in February after severe erosion from winter high surf events? We visited today to give you an update and although there is still no sand on the southern portion of the beach, there is plenty on the north side! The sand level is not up yet to where it usually is in Summer, but it’s great news for those coming for spring break!
