Interview with Hawaii Island Mayor

We were invited to join Hawaii Island Mayor Mitch Roth on a "Walk With Mitch" during the Mani Festival at Hale Halawai on December 2, 2023 in Kailua Kona and we had a chance to get him on camera for a discussion on some of the important topics that we brought up during our walk including housing, permitting, transportation, sustainability, education and more. The Mayor was happy to chat with us on camera after our walk to lend some insights into the topics we hear most from our viewers and readers.

I DID mention an events calendar so that the public is aware of events such as the Sustainability Summit and other avenues that you can learn more about what the County is doing to help solve the island’s problems and how you can be part of that experience.
