If you’re looking for a fast, scenic 5K here in Kona, this is one to put on your calendar. We’re out at Host Park along the coastline, where this upcoming race gives you a great mix of speed, views, and just enough challenge to keep it interesting.
This is a timed and chipped 5K, so whether you’re looking to push your pace or just enjoy a solid run or walk, it works for all levels. The course starts off with a nice downhill section that makes you feel strong early on—but don’t go out too fast. The second half brings a gradual climb back that will test your legs on the way to the finish.
