Kona is buzzing this fall, and we’ve got a LOT to share! 🌺🔥 In this quarterly update, we’re taking you all over town to show you what’s new, what’s changing, and why this season feels so energizing here in West Hawaii.

🌮 Food Truck Friday is booming!
The old Kmart parking lot is turning into Kona’s new Friday night hangout — tons of food, ocean views, lights, energy, and huge community vibes.

🍽️ New restaurants + businesses popping up everywhere:
• Tommy Bahama Marlin Bar opening at the Queens’ Shops
• New Coffee Shack Farms spot in South Kona
• Awesome new sandwich shop downtown
• Korean shave ice + mochi donuts at Snow Island
• Way more places on the way!

🏗️ Big construction + development happening:
• Major new housing projects (including affordable housing!)
• A 150+ unit hillside development coming together
• Townhome resorts taking shape
• Road + sewer line infrastructure rebuild underway

🌳 A goodbye to Kona history:
Our 140-year-old Royal Banyan tree downtown had to be removed for safety. It’s sad to see it go, but the community spirit around it is strong.
