Have you ever waved another driver in from a side road? Held off from honking at someone? Merged peacefully on the highway? Put your brights on to let someone in from a turn lane? If so, you have been practicing kindness and driving with Aloha! People who visit our island say they love the fact people don’t drive aggressively here. They show courtesy and kindness and can be found throwing a Shaka more than a finger on the road!
Not sure what driving with Aloha is like and want to make sure you fit in with the island culture? Watch and learn and please bring your patience with you. We have MANY head on collisions from people trying to pass each other on our two lane roads. Give yourself time and arrive alive.
