We drove to Coconut Island (Moku Ola) in Hilo from Kailua Kona to attend a 365Hilo group gathering and decided to take you along for the road trip!
Sometimes when people are traveling to Hawai’i Island, they don’t know how long it takes to get from one side of the island to the other..and more importantly, what does it look like along the way. You’ll find out here.
Also, I had a chance to say Aloha to a group of East Hawaii residents who came out for a meet up who were looking to connect with like minded people and to network for business and pleasure. You can find more info about these events by joining the "365 Things to Do in Hilo" page on Facebook and joining the "365Hilo Newbies" group, also on Facebook. Great people!
One of the things I shared with the group was our mission to create a community of people who give back to the island, respect the land and the culture, who can share the Aloha and know first hand the special energy found on our island.
This is a road trip video..but it also is about connecting communities from East to West, too!
