A Day in North Hawaii

This wasn’t just a day in North Hawaii, this was a day with a high wind advisory, storm clouds brewing and Mother’s Day weekend!

After a few weeks of some grey and cloudy days in Kailua Kona, we ventured north in search of blue skies and adventure. We visited the Big Island Brewhaus for their famous Green Chili with chicken and White Mountain Porter. https://bigislandbrewhaus.com

Then we drove up the scenic Highway 250 for the views over the valley and Waimea. We found why the County sent out a wind advisory! 50 mph winds!!

We then toured around Hawi and were happy to see that Bamboo Restaurant is open again and we enjoyed the island famous Tropical Dreams ice cream, too!
We then headed to Pololu Valley for a hike to the valley floor hoping the rain would not start until we had a chance to soak in the amazing energy in this sacred space.

So, you see..it was not JUST a day in North Hawaii..it was a fantastic adventure day that we hope you enjoy watching!
