East Hawaii is seeing a 50% year over year decline in home sales, and a 10% home price depreciation. Median price in Hilo is $485k, down from $550k a year ago, a 12% decrease. Days on the market is rising on homes that are not priced correctly in a market that is seeing buyers that are waiting for the right home at the right price..and in some cases those are getting multiple offers.
