East Hawaii Market update June 2024

What is going on with the East Hawaii real estate market? It is slowing. According to Amber Haley, Real Broker, days on market have soared to 90 days in Hawaiian Paradise Park, showing a softening market as we head into summer. The days on market and prices seem to be holding steady in the Hilo market.
Insurance reliability is key at this time, as insurance companies are raising rates or pulling out of the market. Make sure you shop for insurance before purchasing a home in a certain area of the island.
